Heat Treatment Properties:  When Hardening 16mncr5 Heat Treatment Temperatures, Including The Rate Of Heating, Cooling, And Soaking Times Will Vary Due To Factors Such As The Shape And Size Of Each Steel Component. Other Considerations During Heat Treatment Include The Type Of Furnace, Quenching Medium, And Workpiece Transfer Facilities. Please Consult A Heat Treatment Specialist For Full Guidance On Heat Treatment Of 16mncr5 Steel.

 

Hardening : Harden From A Temperature Of 860-980°C Followed By Water, Oil, Or Thermal Bath Quenching.   Tempering : Tempering Temperature: 150-200°C.   Forging Properties : Hot Forming Temperature: 1100-850°C.   Stress Relieving 600-680°C   Normalizing :  Temperature: 850-880°C.   Annealing Heat To 650-700°C, Cool Slowly.   Density 7800   Machinability It Has A Good Machinability At The Soft-Annealed Condition.   Welding While This Steel Grade Has Satisfactory Weldability, There Is A Possibility Of Cracks Forming Along Welds.
